BUILDING BRIDGES: A project to make services and supports better for adults with ID/DD and mental health disabilities (MHD).

The Ohio State University Nisonger Center is working to address training needs related to mental health treatment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD).
• First, we will study current mental health treatment for adults with ID/DD in Ohio and find training needs.
• Second, we will work with our state team to find what type of training needs to be done and who needs the training.
• Third, we will provide training to professionals serving adults with ID/DD and MHD.

We are recruiting adults with ID/DD and mental health conditions to share their story. This will help us learn more about what is working well and what can be done better to support the mental health needs of adults with disabilities.
