In Kids’ Club, we’re committed to providing a fun, secure environment for every kid. That means each site has a special needs room and volunteers for kids who need a little extra support. Our special needs program is available during these services:
- Andover: Sunday at 11:00am
- Florence: Sunday at 9:30am and 11:30am
- Mason: Saturday at 5pm; Sunday at 9:15am
- Oakley: Saturday at 4:30pm; Sunday at 10:05 and 11:45am
- Uptown: Sunday at 10:30am
- Westside: Sunday at 11:00am
If there are enough volunteers—and if it’s appropriate for your kid—we’ll send them to an age-appropriate room with a special needs buddy who will stick with them for the whole service. If not, your kid will stay in the special needs room with other kids and volunteers. In either place, they’ll hear God’s story in language they can understand and in a unique service designed just for them.
If you’re coming for the first time, email us at specialneeds@crossroads.net to let us know how we can best accommodate your kid. And check out this video about what one special needs buddy does, and why she does
Parents of kids with special needs meet the first Monday of the month at Crossroads Oakley. Childcare is provided for ages birth through 5th grade with advance registration. For more information, e-mail specialneeds@crossroads.net.
