Frontier Community Services is a state-certified provider through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD). Our friendly and competent team members are available to serve you. Since 1980, Frontier Community Services has been committed to providing high-quality customized residential and community support services for people with developmental disabilities living in Southern Ohio. Centered in Chillicothe, Ohio, with offices also in Washington Courthouse and Waverly, Frontier Community Services provides a variety of support services including:

Supports are based on the needs and desires of each person. Supports may include:

-Personal care assistance
-Assistance with medication administration for prescribed medications Assisting with, or performing health care activities
-Household homemaking supports
-Assisting with, or performing health care activities
-Promote a safe & healthy environment
-Community access for recreation, leisure, personal errands, and appointments.
-Encouraging positive outcomes through individually desired supports such as: money management, cooking and dietary needs, household tasks, community activities, and personal safety.

Frontier is available to support people in a variety of settings including:

-Licensed homes
-apartments
-leased homes
-living with family members.

Residential and Community Supports are carried out by well-trained staff that undergo monthly continuing education.
On-call staff, managers and RN’s are available 24 hours per day 7 days per week to respond in case of emergencies.
