LADD offers a variety of community-based services for people with disabilities over 18 years of age, who are eligible to receive services provided by Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services (HCDDS), Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Waiver (HCBS), Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC), the Ticket to Work Program or the Local Public Housing Authority/HUD programs. Contracting privately for any LADD service is also an option.
Community Connections, an adult day array program, helps people to establish relationships and identify and explore interests through their participation in the community. People are paired with a Social Guide who provides assistance in choosing activities with the goal of developing a natural support network and cultivating lasting relationships. Services are typically provided in small groups of four. Service funding comes from – Medicaid – Home and Community Based Services Waivers, Hamilton County DD Services, or private pay.
