Rem Ohio offers an array of services and support for people with developmental disabilities, job seekers facing employment challenges, and individuals with other complex needs. Our flexible programs and services are structured around the needs of each individual we serve, and are designed to promote independence, skill development and growth in the communities that they call home. At REM we also have a program called Ohio Shared Living also known as Adult Foster care which encompasses personal care and supportive services provided to an adult with developmental disabilities by a live-in mentor. As contracted providers for REM Ohio our Mentors coordinate and facilitate all the individual’s needs. This can include cooking meals, providing transportation, coordinating appointments and planning or providing activities and ensuring community involvement.
