What: This one-day systems-change summit will focus on transportation barriers for persons with disabilities. The summit will allow attendees to:
• Hear about transportation from national perspectives as well as proposed policy and strategy to address transportation barriers faced by persons with disabilities;
• Learn about the 2018-2019 state budget and the impact in transportation;
• Connect with advocates and leaders in the disability, aging and transportation arenas to discuss ideas, exchange strategies and organize a course of action for future collaboration;
• Plan next steps in how to be an effective advocate in your local community and with the broader state coalition to help people with disabilities obtain affordable and accessible transportation

When: October 25, 2017 from 9 AM – 3:30 PM
