Part 2 of the 4-Part Series on PBIS Lessons Learned

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) unites schools, families, and community members as partners in creating a strong and successful community where each student can thrive and reach their potential. At its core, PBIS is a structured, yet flexible framework that guides teams in the selection, integration, and implementation of evidence-based practices for improving academic, social, and behavior outcomes for all students. PBIS is a proactive approach to teaching ALL students positive skills they will use throughout their lives.

PBIS Lessons Learned Part 2: Early Childhood
This episode, the second in a four-part series, focuses on how implementing PBIS may look different for our youngest students (preschool-grade 3). While the features of PBIS are the same across all grades, there is a greater emphasis on what is developmentally appropriate for young learners in early childhood. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of early childhood considerations through the lens of the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) at the Tier 1 level.
