As parents, we want the best for our children. Navigating the world of benefits when we have a child with a disability, however, is complicated. Participants will learn about the waivers administered by the Department of Developmental Disabilities, STABLE savings accounts and Special Needs Trusts; what they are and how they can work together, as well as with other benefits like Medicaid and Social Security Disability. Presenters will also educate attendees on how to avoid mistakes that may cause the loss of benefits.
