The waiting list is broken. Its time to fix the list.
Ohio’s broken DD wavier waiting list confuses families, misleads advocates, and makes it harder to get resources to the people who need them most. That’s why people with developmental disabilities, parents, families, advocates, county boards of DD, providers and the state of Ohio have come together to Fix The List.
Are you on Ohio’s DD waiting List?
Find out how fixing Ohios waiting list might affect you by visting our website and contacting your county board service and support administrator or service coordinator.
Through the efforts of this coalition and informed by the feedback of people with developmental disabilities and their families, we believe that a new approach to the way Ohio’s HCBS waiver waiting list operates is needed.
It’s time to Fix The List.
This is a proposed rule for adoption and the coalition welcomes your comments and feedback.
