Early Childhood Education Programs

Welcome to the Nisonger Center Early Childhood Education Program!  The Nisonger Center is proud to offer an Early Childhood Education program for children with developmental delays as well as typically developing children.

We offer a full day inclusive child care program for children and families who need child care. Our full day program hours are 7am -6pm.  We accept children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.  The children enrolled in our program that are typically developing are considered peer models in our classrooms for the children who have a developmental delay. The children are in the classrooms together to offer a unique child care experience for all children.

We also offer community based services. Once your child is identified through Help Me Grow you may choose Nisonger to carry out the services in the areas that your child and family need support. We can support your family in your home as well as in your child care center. Our Early Intervention Coaching services include Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Developmental Specialists who can work in many areas of development.

We currently contract our Early Intervention Services with the Ohio State University Child Care Center on Ackerman Rd.

Our program prioritizes families and strives to improve child development through evidence based practice, developmentally appropriate, child-directed, play-based classroom activities.
