Special Needs Parent Support is a group founded to help parents and their children with autism. We provide a main dish, childcare at meeting times, and practical gift card giveaways (often from local businesses – such as gas, restaurant, and grocery store cards). Our group features; resources, event information, and guest speakers. our group leaders also encourage the sharing of personal stories to help advocate for their children.
Date: first Monday of every month, October through May
Time: 6 to 8 pm
Families have dinner together from 6 to 6:30 pm followed by meeting time from 6:30 to 8 pm.
Childcare: An RSVP for childcare is appreciated by the Friday before a meeting. This ensures we have enough volunteers and/or meeting supplies.
