Summit Academy Schools is a safe-haven for children with learning disorders such as Autism, ADD, ADHD, and Asperger’s. We realize that children with these disorders learn and function in a unique way, which is why we have Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, including specially designed English, Reading, and Math programs. Once a student’s learning style is identified, there are many different teaching styles that can be implemented such as using a multi-sensory approach, small group intervention, behavior modeling, corrective feedback, and guided practice. We identify the skill deficits of each student and provide them with different services accordingly.
