The mission of North Coast Community Homes is to help those with disabilities have and maintain safe and accessible community housing.
NCCH works with County Boards of Developmental Disabilities and ADMHS Boards to identify and support housing needs of those with Disabilities.
There is no cost to the individual, the company works through donations annual fundraising to help maintain the cost of maintenance and safety of their homes.
Residents apply through their area board agency. Eligibility for service is not based on income. After working with their agency the resident’s needs are identified the agency will decide what supports are availble for them. The Supprot services can be provided through Medicaid waivers and/or available waiver funding. Then NCCH works with the County Boards of Developmental Disabilties to support the housing needs of the resident.
COVID Update: The office is open with only 1-5 team members there at a time. They currently have strict precautions that have been recommended by the CDC and help to avoid contact with individuals who might have been exposed to the virus. For home maintenance requires, their team is completing high priority work orders and working to inspect all properties. There are strict procedures in place when entering residents’ homes as well.
